Perspectives: A Young Adult Ministry for All Ages
Vision: A growing global Christian community filled with active young adults enthusiastically leading, participating, contributing, maturing in their faith, and impacting the world for God.
Mission: Fostering scriptural chatter, discussing contemporary culture through the lens of the Bible, and facilitating spiritual growth through the leadership and authentic inclusion of the eyes & minds of young adults.
Statement of Purpose:
- To strengthen a sense of family and inclusion within and surrounding the SDA Church community.
- To listen and learn from the voices of young adults — ages ~16 to ~39 — within & without the community of believers.
- To facilitate intergenerational learning by designing ways to experience how our respective worldviews and maturity impact our understanding and explanation of Bible passages.
- To enrich the social and spiritual growth journey of each contributor and participant in and around the church community
- To explore the scriptures using the exegetical guide and/or other resources to truly get the deeper meaning(s) as presented in the Bible.
- To minister to whole-person needs (physical, mental, emotional, health, spiritual) of young adults within our immediate sphere of influence and around the world.
